1 Person Hurt in Tempe Pedestrian Accident near Country Club Way and Broadway Road
TEMPE, AZ (December 4, 2024) – Tuesday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash near Country Club Way and Broadway Road injured one person.
The incident happened around 6:00 a.m. near Country Club Way and Broadway Road.
According to the Tempe Police, a dark-colored SUV struck a teen female who was crossing against the light in a crosswalk. Then, the vehicle fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the victim to a hospital with serious injuries.
Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the 48-year-old male driver of the vehicle for leaving the scene of a crash.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Tempe Police continued to investigate the crash.
