1 Person Hospitalized in Sonoma County Traffic Accident near Calistoga Road and Alpine Road
SONOMA COUNTY, CA (September 2, 2023) – Wednesday morning, an alarming hit-and-run crash near Calistoga Road and Alpine Road injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:38 a.m. near Calistoga Road and Alpine Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a stolen septic truck lost control, rolled over, and collided head-on with a Mercedes-Benz SUV. Then, the truck driver fled the scene on foot after the crash.
Moreover, responders transported the 74-year-old female driver of the SUV to a hospital with major injuries.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
