2 People Hospitalized in Oakdale Jet Ski Accident near Bay View Boat Ramp
OAKDALE, CA (July 29, 2024) – Saturday afternoon, an alarming hit-and-run crash near Bay View Boat Ramp injured two people.
The incident happened at around 2:30 p.m. near Bay View Boat Ramp.
According to the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Office, a jet ski struck two children, then fled the scene without stopping to provide aid.
Moreover, responders rushed the two victims, a 9-year-old and an 11-year-old, to a hospital with unknown injuries.
Furthermore, authorities do not believe that drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
