1 Person Hurt in Long Beach Auto Accident near 15th Street and Locust Avenue
LONG BEACH, CA (April 24, 2024) – Tuesday night, an alarming hit-and-run crash near 15th Street and Locust Avenue injured one person.
The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. near 15th Street and Locust Avenue.
According to the Long Beach Police Department, authorities attempted to pull over a black Honda. Then, the Honda fled, starting a police pursuit that ended when it crashed with another car.
Moreover, responders transported an occupant of the second vehicle to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Furthermore, authorities confirmed that three occupants of the suspect vehicle attempted to flee the scene on foot after the crash. Then, officers managed to arrest two of them quickly, but the third managed to elude the authorities.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
Due to limited information, the Long Beach Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
