SACRAMENTO, CA (June 21, 2023) – Tuesday morning, an alarming fiery traffic crash on Highway 99 and West Elverta Road injured 1 person.

The crash involving a sedan and a red truck occurred at around 7:52 a.m. Moreover, it happened on the southbound lanes of Highway 99, north of West Elverta Road.

According to fire officers, the crash caused the sedan to roll over and catch fire.

Meanwhile, the driver of the sedan managed to exit the vehicle. Then, responders took the sedan driver to a hospital with moderate injuries.

Moreover, the driver of the red truck suffered no injuries in the crash.
