1 Person Arrested in St Louis Auto Accident on South Kingshighway Boulevard and Manchester Avenue

ST LOUIS, MO (July 16, 2024) – Sunday night, an alarming DWI crash on South Kingshighway Boulevard and Manchester Avenue injured two people.

The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. on South Kingshighway Boulevard and Manchester Avenue.

According to reports, a vehicle struck a marked police department Tahoe that was stopped at a red light.

Responding paramedics transported two officers inside the patrol vehicle and the driver of the vehicle that struck them, to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers arrested the 27-year-old driver of the vehicle that struck the patrol vehicle on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
