Alarming DWI Crash on Roosevelt Avenue and Loop 410 Injures 1 [San Antonio, TX]

1 Person Hospitalized in San Antonio Auto Accident on Roosevelt Avenue and Loop 410

SAN ANTONIO, TX (December 27, 2023) – Monday night, an alarming DWI crash on Roosevelt Avenue and Loop 410 injured one person.

The incident happened at around 8:00 p.m. on Roosevelt Avenue and Loop 410.

According to the San Antonio Police, a southbound Lexus IS 250 failed to yield the right of way while attempting a left turn into Loop 410 access road. Then, a northbound Chevrolet Equinox collided with the Lexus.

Moreover, the force of the crash pushed the Lexus into the sidewalk where it struck a 67-year-old male pedestrian.

Furthermore, responders transported the pedestrian to a hospital, where the victim was later pronounced dead.

Also, officers arrested the driver of the Lexus for intoxication assault.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.

Due to limited information, the San Antonio Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
