2 People Hospitalized in San Antonio Auto Accident on North General McMullen Drive and West Commerce Street

SAN ANTONIO, TX (July 28, 2024) – Saturday night, an alarming DUI crash on North General McMullen Drive and West Commerce Street injured two people.

The incident happened just before midnight, at the intersection of North General McMullen Drive and West Commerce Street.

According to reports, a northbound gray Lexus ran a red light and collided with an eastbound black Chevrolet. Then, the force of the crash pushed the Chevrolet to crash with a silver Dodge Avenger that was stopped at the red light.

Moreover, responders rushed the female driver of the Chevrolet, and her female passenger, to a local hospital, both with serious injuries. Also, paramedics transported the 30-year-old driver of the Lexus to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the male driver of the Lexus for intoxication assault.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
