1 Person Hurt in Yuca Valley Auto Accident on 29 Palms Highway and Kickapoo Trail

YUCA VALLEY, CA (November 2, 2023) – Friday night, an alarming DUI crash on 29 Palms Highway and Kickapoo Trail injured one person.

The incident happened at around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of 29 Palms Highway and Kickapoo Trail.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle lost control for still unknown reasons and rolled over. Then, the force of the crash ejected a 3-year-old passenger of the vehicle into the roadway.

Moreover, responders transported the 21-year-old male driver of the vehicle and the 3-year-old passenger to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs with moderate injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested the driver for DUI Causing Bodily Injury and Child Abuse.
