PHOENIX, AZ (May 22, 2023) – Friday night, an alarming DUI crash near Interstate 17 and Indian School Road injured five people.

The incident happened at around 10:30 p.m. near Interstate 17 and Indian School Road.

According to reports, an eastbound vehicle on Indian School collided with a northbound vehicle. Then, the driver of the eastbound vehicle fled the scene after the crash.

Moreover, responders transported a total of five people, including three girls, to a hospital with serious injuries.

Furthermore, officers managed to locate and arrest the suspect who is believed to be driving under the influence. Officials confirmed that the 30-year-old male suspect has been booked on suspicion of DUI and several other charges.
