Riverside, CA (September 27, 2023) – On Sunday, one person sustained an injury in a 4-car crash on Arlington Avenue.

The crash happened on September 24.

Riverside Police Department found 4 cars all with major to moderate damage, and one person trapped in a vehicle.

Firefighters extricated the man. EMS transported him to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries.

According to the other drivers involved in the collision, the trapped man was traveling at a high rate of speed and swerved to avoid the cars in front of him, causing him to cross into oncoming traffic, where he struck the white Dodge Charger and the Kia Sorento, in which a woman was sitting with her young child. A fourth vehicle was involved, a black BMW.

No one else but the man who caused the crash was injured.

At this time, it is not clear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
