Injuries Reported in Morgan Hill Multi-Vehicle Accident on East Dunne Avenue and Thomas Grade

MORGAN HILL, CA (June 27, 2023) – Sunday night, an alarming 3-vehicle crash on East Dunne Avenue and Thomas Grade injured 4 people.

The crash occurred at about 8:20 p.m. on East Dunne Avenue and Thomas Grade, said the Morgan Hill Police Department.

According to reports, an eastbound Ford Mustang collided with a Toyota Venza that was trying to turn left to Thomas Grade.

Then, the impact caused the Venza to roll over and veered into the eastbound lane.

Eventually, the Mustang was hit by a westbound Toyota Sienna.

As a result, responders airlift 1 person to the hospital while the other three were taken via ground ambulance.

Also, the authorities shut down East Dunne Avenue as crews worked at the scene. Furthermore, they urged anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Officer Sam Huezo at 669-253-4931 or samuel.huezo@morganhill.ca.gov, or the tip line at 800-222-8477.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
