COACHELLA, CA (August 14, 2023) – Saturday night, an alarming 3-car crash on Avenue 48 and Grapefruit Boulevard injured 2 people.

The incident happened just after 9:00 p.m. in the area of Avenue 48 and Grapefruit Boulevard.

According to reports, the driver of one of the vehicles tried to escape the scene.

However, some concerned passersby noticed the incident and detained the driver until deputies arrived.

Meanwhile, responders transported two people to the hospital.
