Driver Dies in DUI Crash on Grand Avenue
Sacramento, CA (February 13, 2022) – On Thursday, officers arrested 33-year-old Alantae Hemmingway in a DUI crash on Grand Avenue wherein a driver died.
The officers responded to the crash scene at around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection with Norwood Avenue, which involved two vehicles.
Responding officers said both vehicles sustained extensive damage from the incident. One of the drivers incurred major injuries and died at the scene.
Moreover, the paramedics rushed three people to the hospital with injuries.
The authorities arrested Alantae Hemmingway on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
