Pregnant Woman and Fiance Dead in Single-Car Crash near Redlands Boulevard
MORENO VALLEY, CA (August 31, 2018) – Four people were killed Friday evening following a single-car crash near Redlands Boulevard.
As per reports, the incident took place at about 7:30 PM on 60 Freeway. A white 1999 BMW 328i, driven by 21-year-old Polo Najera Perez, was racing two other vehicles when it lost control, struck a dirt median, and slammed into a guardrail.
Perez and three of his passengers – 21-year-old Rafael Ramirez Espinoza, 21-year-old Valentino Miguel Ramos, and 20-year-old Airyana Rubie Luna – sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene. A fourth passenger survived the accident and was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
Ramos and Luna, who were engaged, were expecting their first child together in October. A GoFundMe page was created to assist their families with funeral expenses. Click on the link to donate and to support the campaign.
Witnesses claimed that they saw a gray or black 2017 or 2018 Honda Civic and a black Mazda Hatchback fleeing the scene after the crash.
