Thermal, CA (January 14, 2023) On Friday afternoon, 2 people suffered fatal injuries in a 2-vehicle collision on the 86600 block of Airport Boulevard.

Cal Fire says that the deadly big rig-car crash happened at around 5:58 p.m. north of the Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport.

Authorities say that the collision involved a semi-truck and a vehicle. Officials pronounced 2 people on the vehicle dead at the scene due to injuries from the collision.

Meanwhile, the big rig driver did not suffer injuries.
