Two Hospitalized after Airplane Crash on Highway 49 in Calaveras County

Calaveras County, CA (March 3, 2023) – Friday morning, two people sustained injuries in a solo-engine airplane crash on Highway 49.

The crash on Highway 49 in Calaveras County happened on March 3 near Carol Kennedy Drive and Union Mine Road outside the San Andrés township.

Officials said the two people injured were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. One person was airlifted while another was taken by ambulance.
