Highway 81 Fatal Crash Under Investigation
Alvord, TX (March 16, 2024) – 44-year-old Jeff Taylor, a member of a Texan rock band Air Review, was killed in a Highway 81 collision Sunday.
Texas DPS officers said Taylor’s 2022 GMC Sierra collided with a big rig on U.S. Highway 81/287 crossover in Wise County.
Wise County Justice of the Peace declared Taylor deceased at the scene while the big rig driver was not hurt in the collision.
Responders said both involved vehicles were occupied by their drivers only.
Taylor, along with his wife Sara, their son Callum, and daughter Evan, lived in Sunset, Texas.
Taylor worked as the technical director at Irving Bible Church for 14 years. Then, in 2018, he launched his own audio, video, and lighting production company called Taylor Pro Audio.
Officers are investigating.

However, the worst part to consider is when the death was a result of other people’s negligence.
