Air Expressway Collision Kills 25-Year-Old Victorville Man [Victorville, CA]

Victorville, CA (August 8, 2022) On Sunday, a 25-year-old Victorville man died in a 4-car collision on Air Expressway.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department says that the deadly multi-car crash happened at around 5 p.m. near Nevada Avenue.

Reports say that a 2007 Toyota Corolla attempted to pass another vehicle by counterflowing traffic. Consequently, the Toyota crashed head-on with a Chevrolet Silverado, behind it a Kia Soul.

Afterward, the Toyota and Chevrolet burst into flames. The impact of the collision caused the Kia to roll over several times and hit a Volkswagen Jetta.

The Toyota driver, a 25-year-old man from Victorville, sustained fatal injuries and officials pronounced him dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, paramedics transported the 50-year-old Chevrolet male driver and 46-year-old female driver on the Kia to a hospital.

Authorities are still investigating the incident and have not released additional details regarding the crash.
