Woodland Traffic Crash Kills Toddler
Woodland, CA (March 17, 2024) – 2-year-old Ailahni Sanchez was killed following a West Street accident Saturday afternoon.
It was about 3:45 p.m. when the child was hit by a vehicle in the 300 block of West Street off of West Main Street.
Responding officers said the Sanchez’s family members took her to a hospital where she died.
Moreover, investigators said they spotted a black Dodge truck with a 3-year-old child inside and a man nearby. They later discovered that he struck Sanchez.
Officers did not say if there was anything criminal that caused to the crash and said that DUI is not suspected at this time.
Troopers are still investigating this collision.
