30-Year-Old Agwani Samad Dies in Auto-Pedestrian Crash on 16th Street and Osborn Road in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (October 9, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, 30-year-old Agwani Samad died in a crash on 16th Street and Osborn Road.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened just before 3:00 a.m. on October 9.

Phoenix Police located a white SUV with substantial damage and a male driver. 

The fire department was able to extricate the driver and transported him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Moreover, they found Samad unresponsive on the roadway. He died at the crash scene.

Investigators said impairment is a factor in this crash.

Further investigation to determine the circumstances of the crash is ongoing.
