1 Dead in Edinburg Auto Accident on Trenton Road and Closer Boulevard

EDINBURG, TX (September 10, 2023) – Early Saturday morning, Adrienne Anna Garza died in a devastating 2-vehicle crash on Trenton Road.

The incident happened at 2:09 a.m. at the intersection of Trenton Road and Closner Boulevard.

When the authorities arrived, they determined that the crash involved a white Chevrolet Silverado and a white BMW.

Investigations revealed that the driver of the Silverado had passed a red light at the intersection and struck the BMW.

Then, officers confirmed that a man and a woman occupying the BMW were taken to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. However, the driver of the BMW, identified as 26-year-old Garza was declared dead.

Meanwhile, authorities identified the Chevrolet male driver as 22-year-old Juan Pablo Torres of McAllen.

Authorities arrested Torres who was suspected of driving while intoxicated. Police obtained a blood specimen through a search warrant.
