Adrian Van Wyck Killed in Everett Crash
Everett, WA (September 14, 2021) – On September 03, 47-year-old Adrian Van Wyck of Everett suffered injuries in a pedestrian accident on Evergreen Way.
The pedestrian crash took place at about 3:30 p.m. near the 8500 block area.
Officer said Van Wyck was jay-walking across Evergreen Way west-to-east.
Two cars slowed to a stop and waited for him. However, a northbound Jeep was on the far-right side of the road. The driver did not see Van Wyck , and struck him.
Immediately, rescuers took Van Wyck to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries on September 11.
Investigating officers said he died of blunt-force injuries, and determined his death to be an accident.
Meanwhile, the Jeep driver did not appear to be intoxicated at the time of the crash.
The authorities has completed the investigation and did not arrest anyone.
