30-Year-old Bloomington Man Fatally Injured on Orange Freeway near Pathfinder Road
DIAMOND BAR, CA (May 28, 2018) – A man was fatally injured in a pedestrian collision on the 57 Freeway, early Monday morning. The deceased victim was identified as 30-year-old Adrian Pollard of Bloomington.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Pollard was struck by at least one vehicle on the northbound Orange Freeway at Pathfinder Road. The accident took place at around 4:38 AM.
A SigAlert was issued at 4:57 AM. All lanes of the highway were shut down, and traffic was diverted away from the area of the collision. There are no details on the events leading up to the incident, and it is still unknown why the man was on the freeway.
