El Paso, TX (February 24, 2024) On Friday morning, 30-year-old Adrian Gonzalez was arrested after a fatal crash on Turf Road that killed a 40-year-old woman and a 34-year-old man

According to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPCSO), the tragic crash happened at about 10 a.m. on the the 4600 block of Turf Road.

Reports say that a vehicle, driven by Adrian James Gonzalez fatally struck 2 pedestrians walking on the shoulder of the road.

Authorities say that deputies located the man about 50 feet away from the woman who was hit by Gonzalez’s vehicle.

Officials say that Gonzalez fled the scene after the crash, but officials later found the suspect and was arrested.

EPCSO deputies are investigating the fatal pedestrian crash and have not released further details at this time.
