COLUSA COUNTY, CA (October 4, 2022) – Thursday night, authorities arrested Adres Melchor after a fatal hit-and-run crash on Highway 45.
 
The incident occurred just after 8:00 p.m. on Highway 45.
 
According to reports, 55-year-old Adres Melchor drove a Chevrolet Tahoe on Highway 45. Then, the 66-year-old woman entered the southbound lane.
 
As a result, Melchor struck the woman with his vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, the woman succumbed to injuries.
 
Then, Adres Melchor escaped from the crash scene. However, officers later found him at his home.
 
The authorities eventually arrested Adres Melchor.
