Adolfo Raya Jr. Killed, Aldo Montoya Injured in Highway 43 Accident [Bakersfield, CA]

Bakersfield, CA (January 13, 2024) On Friday afternoon, a horrendous 4-vehicle traffic accident on Pond Road left Adolfo Raya Jr. dead and several other people injured.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the fatal multi-vehicle crash happened around 3 p.m. at Pond Road and Highway 43.

Reports say that the collision involved 4 vehicles. Medics say that 3 people sustained injuries, and a person was pinned under a vehicle. Meanwhile, rescuers found a victim with major injuries, medics rushed the seriously hurt patient to the hospital via helicopter.

Officials say that the crash closed Highway 43, north of Pond Road for an emergency helicopter used to take the injured person to the hospital.
