43-Year-Old Adeline Ramos Dies in Head-On Crash on Highway 180 [Fresno County, CA]

Fresno County, CA (June 21, 2024) Early Thursday morning, 43-year-old Adeline Ramos of Selma was killed and 2 other people were hurt in a horrific head-on crash on Highway 180.

According to the CHP, the fatal DUI collision happened at about 12:15 a.m. on westbound Highway 180, west of Cornelia Avenue.

Reports say that the crash involved a westbound 2019 Nissan Versa, driven by 21-year-old Amadeo Manera of Kerman, and an eastbound 2007 Nissan Sentra.

Officials say the Versa and Sentra collided head-on.

Medics say that both the driver of the Versa and their passenger, identified as Ramos, sustained injuries and were transported to the hospital. Officials say that the passenger was ultimately declared dead at the hospital, while the driver’s current status is unknown.

Meanwhile, Manera sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Authorities suspected that Manera was driving impaired at the time of the collision. Officials arrested Manera afterward.
