38-Year-Old Man Fatally Struck by Car near Railroad Street
CORONA, CA (May 12, 2018) – A man was struck and killed by a car on the 500 block of North Lincoln Avenue, late Saturday night. He was identified on Tuesday as 38-year-old Adan Olean.
According to the Corona Police, Olean was crossing North Lincoln near Railroad Street, when a northbound motorist hit him. He was walking in the industrial area, just east of the Corona Municipal Airport, in an area without a marked crosswalk. It is unclear what direction he was traveling when hit.
The driver pulled over and called 911 immediately. Authorities and paramedics arrived at the scene around 11 PM and pronounced him dead.
Police officials continue to investigate the fatal collision, and encourage anyone with additional information to contact Officer David Dopson by calling (951) 817-5845. Drugs, alcohol, and speed are all being considered as possible factors in the incident. No other details have been disclosed at this time.
