Fatal Fresno Car Accident Leaves Adalila Cruz-Rojas Dead
Fresno, CA (October 9, 2020) – On Thursday, 41-year-old Adalila Cruz-Rojas of Fresno died in a crash at the intersection of West McKinley Avenue and North Garfield Avenue.
Moreover, the fatal crash took place at 11:40 a.m., west of Fresno.
California Highway Patrol spokesman Mike Salas said the driver of a Honda Civic went north on Garfield Avenue towards a stop sign.
Just then, the driver went into the path of a Dodge Caravan that drove at 55 mph.
As a result, the front end of the Caravan crashed with the Civic’s driver’s side door.
Moreover, authorities pronounced Adalila Cruz-Rojas dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities took the other driver to the hospital with moderate injuries. The driver was expected to survive.
The intersection at McKinley Avenue and Garfield Avenue does not have a four-way stop. The authorities continue to investigate the crash.
