1 Hospitalized in Austin Pedestrian Crash on Interstate 35 near Barwood Park
AUSTIN, TX (March 20, 2023) – Sunday morning, two people sustained injuries in a pedestrian accident on Interstate 35 near Barwood Park.
The incident happened at around 5:30 a.m. on southbound Interstate 35 near Barwood Park.
According to reports, a vehicle struck a pedestrian for still unknown reasons. Also, authorities confirmed that the pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles after the initial incident.
Moreover, Austin-Travis County EMS rushed the victim to Dell Seton Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Then, authorities said that a second patient refused further treatment and was released at the scene.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
