48-Year-Old Abagail Lopez Moreno Dead After 2-Vehicle Crash on 35th Avenue and Grover in Phoenix
Phoenix, AZ (September 18, 2024) – On Tuesday, 48-year-old Abagail Lopez Moreno died in a two-vehicle crash on 35th Avenue and Grover.
A crash in north Phoenix on Tuesday evening claimed the life of a woman after the vehicle she was in collided with another.
Phoenix police arrived at the scene around 6:30 p.m. at 35th Avenue and Grovers Avenue.
Officers discovered the woman with serious injuries, and she was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
The victim was identified as 48-year-old Abagail Lopez Moreno.
All vehicles involved remained at the scene as detectives began their investigation.
According to police, preliminary findings indicate that the vehicle in which Lopez Moreno was a passenger was heading north on 35th Avenue and making a left turn onto Grovers when it was struck by another vehicle.
No charges have been filed, and police do not believe impairment played a role in the crash, though the investigation is ongoing.
