Aaron Makunin Killed in Head-On Crash on NE 72nd Avenue [Pleasant Valley, WA]

17-Year-Old Driver Killed, Cody Potter Injured in Collision near 151st Circle

 
PLEASANT VALLEY, WA (January 31, 2020) – The authorities identified Aaron Makunin as the motorist who got killed in a fatal crash on NE 72nd Avenue on Friday afternoon.
 
According to the State Highway Patrol, the incident happened near 151st Circle shortly after 5:00 PM.
 
Reports showed that the 17-year-old man was driving a Mercedes sedan when he crossed the centerline and collided with a northbound Ford van.
 
The paramedics worked to extricate the teen driver, but he was declared deceased at the scene.
 
The driver of the van, 27-year-old Cody Potter of Battle Ground, was transported to an area hospital. He suffered injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening.
 
The CCSO Traffic Unit is investigating the collision. No other details were released.
