Police Investigate Pick up VS Sedan Crash on 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road in Phoenix

Phoenix, AZ (March 18, 2022) – Thursday night,  40-year-old Aaron Griffen, and his passenger died in a crash on 83rd Avenue and Thomas Road.

The fatal crash in Phoenix happened at around 9 p.m.on March 17.

Phoenix Police said an eastbound pickup truck crossed into westbound lanes of traffic and collided with a sedan.

Griffen and his passenger died at the crash scene. 

Police did not release any information about the driver of the truck.

Impairment is not believed to be a factor in this collision.

Further investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
