Aaric Arias Killed in Interstate 10 Vehicle Collision [San Antonio, TX]

Drivers Arrested in I-10 Fatal Collision

San Antonio, TX (February 17, 2023) – On Thursday morning, 20-year-old Aaric Arias lost his life in an Interstate 10 vehicle collision.

The traffic incident happened around 2:30 a.m. on the westbound freeway near Medical Drive.

The authorities said Arias was driving a black 2014 Cadillac CTS at a high rate of speed when his vehicle struck a rock and crashed into a stone fence. He was thrown from his vehicle which rolled over.

Afterward, an orange Camaro rear-ended the rolled vehicle while a silver sedan crashed into a tree.

The responding medical team rushed Aaric Arias by ambulance to University Hospital where he succumbed to injuries. 

Moreover, the authorities detained the other two drivers on suspicion of DWI. Officers are investigating the I-10 fatal collision.
