The multi-vehicle collision took place on the eastbound freeway between Pioneer Boulevard and Norwalk Boulevard.
According to the officers, a gray Toyota Yaris overturned due to the collision while a white Toyota Camry and Mini Cooper were stuck in the carpool lane.
