9-Year-Old Boy Struck and Injured in Spring Valley Pedestrian Crash
SPRING VALLEY, CA (May 28, 2019) – A 9-year-old boy suffered injuries following a pedestrian accident in Spring Valley on Sunday, May 26.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatcher, a vehicle struck the boy on Rinda Lane near Sweetwater Road just after 1:10 p.m.
Paramedics transported him to a hospital as a precaution. His condition was not known.
The boy’s mother, Martha Gomez, told a local news source that her son was crossing the street when he was struck. The driver of the vehicle that struck the boy stopped and remained at the scene after the crash.
