LOS ANGELES, CA (June 12, 2022) – Saturday morning, a truck struck nine people in crash on Alvarado Street near MacArthur Park.
 
According to Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section Officer Norma Eisenman, the incident happened at around 8:36 a.m. Moreover, it occurred on 647 S. Alvarado Street near MacArthur Park.
 
Reports revealed that a truck veered towards the sidewalk and struck a total of nine people. Moreover, officials said that the driver believe that he had a gun pointed at him which is why he veered towards the sidewalk.
 
Then, responders transported six people to a hospital, including an adult who sustained serious injuries. Also, three people refused further treatment after the incident
 
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
