1 Dead in El Cajon Pedestrian Accident on 700 Fletcher Parkway
EL CAJON, CA (December 8, 2022) – Tuesday night, an 89-year-old man died in a pedestrian crash on 700 Fletcher Parkway.
The incident happened at 6:50 p.m. in the 700 block of Fletcher Parkway.
According to reports, a 2014 Kia Optima struck and killed a male pedestrian.
When the officers arrived, they found the unconscious victim on the road, said Lt. Darrin Forster.
Then, paramedics took the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Also, the Optima driver stayed at the scene and has been cooperative with the investigation.
Furthermore, preliminary reports indicate alcohol or drugs didn’t play a role in the crash.
