Frederick Girard Killed, Wilma Girard Injured in Sacramento Crash
Sacramento, CA (November 29, 2021) – On Sunday, 86-year-old Frederick Girard dies while 86-year-old Wilma Girard suffered injuries in a DUI crash near Bentley Road.
It was just before 4 p.m. when the fatal crash happened close to Kemper Road.
Officers said both Frederick and Wilma were in a 2007 Toyota Camry that was t-boned by a 2003 Chevy pickup while they were making a left turn.
Reports said that the pickup’s driver, 33-year-old Patrick Davis was with his two children, a three-year-old and a five-month-old when the crash happened.
Unfortunately, Frederick succumbed to the injuries at the crash scene.
On the other hand, the rescuers airlifted Wilma to a local hospital.
Moreover, the officers arrested Davis for DUI on scene. The authorities said Davis and his kids were not hurt in the accident.
The officers are still investigating this fatal crash.
