84-Year-Old Oxnard Man Fatally Injured in Victoria Avenue Crash [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (October 19, 2021) – On Monday, an 84-year-old Oxnard man suffered fatal injuries in Victoria Avenue crash.

The fatal incident took place at approximately 11:06 a.m. south of Wooley Road.

When the authorities arrived at the crash scene, they determined a 2001 BMW 330i was southbound on Victoria Avenue. At the same time, an eastbound 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee began to cross the avenue.

As a result, the two vehicles crashed.

The 84-year-old man driving the Jeep sustained serious injuries. 

Rescuers rushed him to Ventura County Medical Center, where he later died.

Meanwhile, the 20-year-old man, also from Oxnard, was driving the BMW. 

Rescuers rushed him to VCMC with moderate injuries. Reports said he is currently in stable condition.
