Troopers Search For Suspect Driver in Kent Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash
Kent, WA (February 6, 2024) – An 84-year-old Auburn woman was killed following a South Central Avenue collision Sunday night.
The hit-and-run collision occurred around 8:15 p.m. in the 800 block area.
Several people reported to 911 that a woman was lying in the street after being hit by a vehicle.
Immediately, emergency rescuers responded to the scene and declared the 84-year-old woman deceased.
Troopers said a witness saw a smaller red sedan struck the woman head-on and fled the scene.
Unfortunately, no one was able to get the license plate number of the suspect vehicle.
