Woman Killed in Maricopa County Accident on Cholla Street and Warner Road

 
MARICOPA COUNTY, AZ (October 21, 2020) – Monday morning, an 82-year-old female pedestrian died in a crash on Cholla Street and Warner Road.
 
According to Gilbert police, fire crews and police responded to a crash. The incident happened near Cholla Street and Warner Road, shortly after 5:00 a.m.
 
Responders attempted life-saving treatments but failed. Thus, paramedics pronounced the woman dead at the scene of the incident.
 
Meanwhile, the driver involved in the crash remained at the scene to cooperate with the authorities.
 
As of this time, the police haven’t released the woman’s identity.
 
Furthermore, officers limited the traffic between Cooper and Gilbert roads to give way to the investigation.
 
All lanes reopened shortly after 10:00 a.m.
