80-Year-Old Female Passenger Injured in DUI Crash on 3100 Nimitz Boulevard [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (December 25, 2021) – On Friday, an 80-year-old female passenger and a DUI driver sustained injuries in a  DUI crash on 3100 Nimitz Boulevard.

The crash happened at 9:43 p.m. in the Roseville neighborhood.

Officers said a 73-year-old man and his passenger were westbound in a black Honda accord. Their vehicle struck the raised median and a light standard before it overturned.

The passenger incurred several broken ribs and other injuries.

Immediately, the rescuers took the driver and passenger to a hospital.

The officers later arrested the driver for DUI.
