Injuries Reported in Redding Bicycle Accident on Mistletoe Lane
REDDING, CA (November 17, 2021) – Tuesday morning, an 8-year-old girl suffered injuries in a bicycle crash on Mistletoe Lane.
The incident happened at 7:48 a.m. when a truck hit an 8-year-old female bicyclist. Moreover, the incident happened on Mistletoe Lane near the Mistletoe Elementary School.
According to the investigation, the female bicyclist went against traffic on Mistletoe Lane. Then, a 47-year-old Redding woman in a Dodge truck exited the parking lot of the elementary school. Then, the child went onto the roadway and into the path of the truck.
As a result, the Dodge hit her and left her with minor injuries. Then, responders took her to Mercy Medical.
