Renton Car Crash
RENTON, WA (January 30, 2020) – An 8-year-old boy crashed a car into a Walmart store’s parking lot on Rainier Avenue on January 28.
Officers came to the crash scene at 743 Rainier Avenue, shortly before 3:00 p.m., Renton police Commander David Liebman revealed.
Upon their arrival, they located an 8-year-old boy behind the wheel of a car that had rammed into another vehicle a woman and 2-month-old baby occupied.
According to police, the boy and his father just left the store when the boy ran first, rode the vehicle and started it, reversing and striking another passing vehicle in the parking lot.
The other vehicle’s airbags deployed. It is still unclear if the passengers suffered injuries in the crash.
The identities of the persons involved remain unreleased.
