8 Hurt in Ceres Accident on Highway 99
CERES, CA (June 11, 2019) – Eight people, including two juveniles, suffered injuries in a car accident on Highway 99 on June 10.
The two-vehicle collision happened on southbound Highway 99 just south of Service Road at around 1:35 p.m., the CHP reported.
Responders flew two children–a 3-year-old with major injuries and a 12-year-old with moderate injuries–to children’s hospitals out of the area.
The incident shut down two lanes on Highway 99 and stalled traffic as far as Briggsmore Avenue before the lanes reopened at 3:00 p.m.
