8 Hurt in Bakersfield Car Accident
BAKERSFIELD, CA (March 14, 2019) – Eight people sustained injuries in a collision between a school bus and a Honda Civic on 17th Street and Chester Avenue.
According to California Highway Patrol Officer Robert Rodriguez, the bus heading to Franklin Elementary contained 45-50 students. Rodriguez added that the two vehicles suffered minor damages only.
Meanwhile, Bakersfield Fire Department Battalion Chief Casey Snow said that eight people sustained injuries. As of this time, Snow didn’t have any information regarding the factors that caused the collision.
Due to the collision, authorities shut down 17th street, just west of Chester.
