Eight Injured in Long Beach Accident
LONG BEACH, CA (December 14, 2018) – Several people were hurt after a multi-car crash on 405 Freeway on Thursday, December 13.
According to the California Highway Patrol, five vehicles collided in the leftmost lane of the southbound 405 Freeway at Cherry Avenue.
Long Beach Fire Department spokesman Jake Heflin said that eight people sustained injuries in the collision and three were transported to local hospitals.
A Sig Alert was issued for an hour, starting at 6:15 p.m.
The names of the involved parties were not immediately available. No additional information was released.
