1 Injured in Puyallup Car Accident on Highway 101
PUYALLUP, WA (January 22, 2020) – A 79-year-old man sustained injuries in a car accident on Highway 101 on January 19.
The two-car crash sent the Shelton man to Harborview Medical Center. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old Sequim man in the other vehicle didn’t suffer any injury.
According to reports, at around 2:15 p.m., the Shelton man, approaching Highway 101 on Brockdale Road stopped at a stop sign before driving to the highway. On the other hand, the Sequim man traveled north on Highway 101. However, the Shelton man made a turn south on US 101 and failed to yield to the oncoming driver.
After the crash, responders took the 79-year-old Shelton man to Mason General Hospital, then airlifted to Harborview.
